T15 War Room (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. We understand that the data you input into the War Room—specifically regarding your financial status, family background, and academic performance—is highly sensitive.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

1. THE “WAR ROOM” PLEDGE (PLAIN ENGLISH SUMMARY)

We are in the business of probability, not data brokerage.

  • We do not sell your data to universities, recruiters, or advertisers.
  • Sensitive Data is Local-First: Your “Net Worth” and “Parental Tier” inputs are processed locally on your device to calculate your odds.
  • You are in control: You can wipe your profile and delete your account at any time.

2. COLLECTION OF INTELLIGENCE (INFORMATION WE COLLECT)

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you initialize the assessment sequence.

A. Personal Identity Data

  • Name / Alias
  • State/Region of Residence (used for “Geo-Arbitrage” calculations)

B. Academic & Strategic Data

  • GPA and Standardized Test Scores (SAT/ACT)
  • Course Rigor (AP/IB Load)
  • Extracurricular involvement (“Spike” intensity)
  • Intended Major

C. Sensitive “Shadow Protocol” Data We collect specific sensitive data points solely to power the algorithmic probability engine. This data includes:

  • Financial Estimates: Household Net Worth brackets.
  • Family Background: First-generation status, Legacy affiliations, and Parental Influence tiers.
  • Demographics: Race/Ethnicity and Gender (used for contextual diversity calculations).
  • Citizenship Status: Domestic vs. International status.

D. Usage Data We may collect anonymous metadata regarding how you interact with the app (e.g., which universities are viewed most frequently) to improve the system.

3. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We use the collected data for specific, functional purposes:

  1. To Execute the Algorithm: We input your variables into our proprietary “Shadow Protocol” to output a probability percentage.
  2. To Generate Charts: To render the dynamic “Market Line” visuals during onboarding.
  3. To Calculate ROI: To compare your potential earnings against national averages.
  4. Account Management: To manage your registration and allow you to save your results.

4. DATA STORAGE & SECURITY

Local-First Architecture: We utilize a local database architecture (WatermelonDB/SQLite) on your device for high-frequency data processing. This means the critical calculations regarding your odds often happen directly on your phone.

Encryption: Any data transmitted to our cloud servers for backup purposes is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.

No Sale of Data: We do not trade, rent, or sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your profile with any university admissions offices.

5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)

The App is intended for use by high school students (ages 13+) and their parents. We do not knowingly solicit information from or market to children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

We may share generic, aggregated (non-identifiable) data with trusted service providers to help us operate the app:

  • Cloud Hosting: (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Supabase) for user authentication.
  • Analytics: (e.g., PostHog or Mixpanel) to track app crash rates and performance errors.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: You may view your profile data at any time within the App dashboard.
  • Correction: You may update your academic or financial stats as your situation changes.
  • Deletion: You may request the total deletion of your account and all associated data by using the “Delete Account” function in the Settings menu or contacting us.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our algorithm or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy.
